Problem Statement

Mike Campbell, who was the Senior Vice President of Information Services, found that the employees of Smith Financial Corporation have been frustrated by the new director, Frank Miller. Since the company hired Frank Miller as the director of the information services department, the employees were confused because Frank messed up the traditions of the company by making some reckless changes. Therefore, Mile had to fire Frank in order to get back the peace in the company, and to stop the employees leaving. Mike had to fire him in a month since Frank had been hired.

Facts

-Frank Miller broke the traditional ways of the Smith Financial Corporation.

-The employees were confused and unsatisfied with Frank’s decisions.

-Mike Campbell fired Frank Miller because Frank messed up the company.

Assumptions

-Frank might have been disappointed to be fired because he had been very motivated to improve the company.

-The employees might have been regaining motivation and worked better after Frank had been fired.

-Smith Financial Corporation had to find a new director who fits the tradition of the company.
